If you come by plane
You can reach the boarding areas of Molo Beverello, Calata Porta di Massa and Mergellina from Naples Capodichino airport by taxi or by bus. The Alibus connects the airport directly with the Beverello Pier and the ticket can be purchased on board.
If you come by train
By the train you can stop at the Napoli Centrale or Mergellina station. The first one is about 2 km from Molo Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa, while the second one is a stone's throw from the embarkations of the port of Mergellina. From the central station you can reach the gates either by taxi or by bus, the ticket can be purchased inside the station.
If you come by car
By car it is preferable to embark from the port of Pozzuoli because it is closer to the island. To reach Pozzuoli you must pass the Naples motorway tollbooth and continue for about 12 Km, then take the ring road towards Pozzuoli, take the first exit after the “Via Campana” exit and follow the signs for the port.
If instead you choose to embark from Naples - immediately after the tollbooth you must follow the indications for Naples port area, then for Molo Calata Porta di Massa (ferry boarding).
Who wants to arrive by car must necessarily take a ferry and the embarkation points are Pozzuoli and Calata Porta di Massa (Naples); for those who want to board a hydrofoil - passengers only - boarding is at Molo Beverello (Naples) and at the port of Mergellina.
